If all you are looking for is a quiet location on or near the beach you may choose the small villages
along the peninsula such as Bitez (15 minutes from Bodrum), Gumusluk or Yalikavak (both 30
minutes from Bodrum) Gumusluk is also famous for its fish restaurants.
Try these while you are still in Bodrum:
- Go to Gumusluk for a fish dinner. Be sure to be at the dinner table
before sunset.
- Yalikavak has some nice fish restaurants by the sea
- See the sunset at Turgutreis , Yalikavak or Gumusluk
- Stop by a cafe along the sea at Turkbuku.
- Eat cokertme at Bitez bay.
There are numerous sports activities, such as diving, jetskis (allowed only in some coves),
waterskiing, windsurfing (one of the best places in the world for windsurfing is Bitez), paragliding
(now available in Oren, one hour drive from Bodrum) and many more....
Nightlife:
The city itself is famous for its nightlife, with numerous bars, discos, restaurants, cafes and shops
offering the most that Turkey has to offer, second only to Istanbul. You may choose to stay in a
guest house or hotel in the city itself for best experiencing the nightlife.

M&M dancing/bar has a catamaran that docks the bar by the sea and it sails
at 3 AM until 7 AM for those who wanna party

And there are tens of bars along the barlar steet (Barlar=Bars)
