Gallipoli day tour from Istanbul by bus
Day 1 Istanbul-Gallipoli-Istanbul
It is possible to visit Gallipoli every day. Departure from Istanbul will get you to Gallipoli, a beautiful peninsula blessed with Aegean blue crystal waters kissing sandy beaches, olive trees, flower-covered hills and timeless small fishing and farming villages. However Gallipoli is known as the site of one of the bloodiest battles in world history between the Turks and the British army with Anzac forces. The battle was won by the Turkish mostly due to heroic leadership of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and sacrifices of Turkish people young and old. The loss of life from both sides exceeded a quarter million people.
The tour includes the war museum, Anzac Cove where the Commemoration takes place on 25th April, Johnston Jolly, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Chunuk Bairi where New Zealand memorial stands and Kilitbahir fortress.
After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Istanbul.
Transportation, transfer from and back to hotel in Istanbul, guided tour, lunch and all the fees.
