If you wil stay in Gocek and you will not be joining a yacht cruise, you can take a daily boat tour to visit the coves in the area and swim in crystal clear waters. You can also go to Inlice beach by public minibus that depart every hour or two during summers. Also Gocek island beach is reachable by water taxi from the harbour. Oludeniz, the famous beach is about 45 minutes drive from Gocek.

There are no notable ruins in the area but you can visit by car many sites within an hour or so drive. Caunos, Telmessos, Tlos, Pınara, Letoon, Xanthos and Patara are all beautiful ancient cities of Lycian coast.
